HISTORY
Archibald Benhamou
Goony is a creative studio founded by writer-director Archibald Benhamou, a Columbia MFA graduate with a background in narrative design, film, and emerging storytelling formats.
Born in Cannes and now based in the U.S., Archibald has spent the past few years leading large-scale creative projects across webcomics, branded content, short films, and AI-driven media. Goony was built as a natural extension of that journey — a home for crafting bold, story-first experiences.
The studio has overseen the narrative strategy and production of 80+ original webcomic series, including titles with tens of millions of views, and has directed award-winning short films (Lucid Box, Guilty, Saint John) screened internationally. Goony also produces branded content for clients in Paris, New York, LA, and Monaco, and is actively exploring the future of storytelling through prompt engineering, interactive narratives, and AI-generated video.
At its core, Goony exists to build stories with structure, soul, and scale — wherever they’re meant to be told.
